April 3 Food Articles inflation stood at 17.22% Vs 17.7% (WoW), Primary Articles inflation stood at 13.88% Vs 14.5% (WoW), Fuel Group inflation stood at 12.43% Vs 12.71% (WoW).
WPI Food Articles Index stood down 1.4% (WoW); WPI Primary Articles Index stood down 1% (WoW); Fuel Group Index stood down 1.4% (WoW). March WPI for all commodities stood at 250.8. January WPI inflation stood at 9.44% Vs 8.56% (provisional).
Finance Minister said that he had expected March WPI inflation to rise to double-digits, reports CNBC-TV18 quoting NW18.
