NSE F&O Cues – 13 April 2010

Fut OI up Rs 603 Cr, Options OI up Rs 2444 Cr; Nifty Fut added 9 lk shrs in OI, at 4-pts prem; Zee Entertainment CoC surged, Futures OI up 10%

Futures OI was up Rs 603 crore while Options OI was up Rs 2444 crore. Nifty Futures added 9 lakh shares in OI and were at 4-points premium. Nifty OI Put-Call Ratio stood at 1.29 vs 1.39. Nifty Puts OI was unchanged while Nifty Calls added 37 lakh shares in OI. Nifty 5400 Put sheds 11 lakh shares in OI; Nifty 5400 Call added 16 lakh shares in OI; Nifty 5300 Call added 8.6 lakh shares in OI. Stock Futures added 1.6 crore shares in OI.

On April 12, net buy in Nifty Futures were Rs 13 crore, net sell in Nifty Options were Rs 170 crore and net sell in Stock Futures were Rs 351 crore.

L&T was down 2.2%, Futures OI was up 11%, fresh short positions were seen. GAIL was down 3.2%, Futures OI was up 8%, fresh short positions were seen. Zee Entertainment was up 3.2%; CoC surged, Futures OI was up 10%, fresh long positions were seen. Voltas was up 2%, Futures OI was up 29%, fresh long positions were seen. Allahabad Bank was down 3.5%, Futures OI was down 12%, long unwinding was seen.
