Britain’s FTSE 100 index ended down 0.43 percent down 25 points to 5,703,Germany’s DAX ended down 0.21 percent down 13 points to 6,120,France’s CAC 40 ended down 0.29 percent at 3,989 .

Commodities
Crude oil was up 43 cents to trade at $80.43 a barrel.Gold settle at $1,108 an ounce.
