Asian markets were trading mixed. China’s Shanghai Composite was up 1.24% or 37.83 points at 3,097.54. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng gained 0.45% or 94.94 points at 21,148.05. Japan’s Nikkei was down 0.56% or 61.95 points at 10,934.42.
Singapore’s Straits Times added 0.38% or 11 points at 2,917.28. South Korea’s Seoul Composite was flat at 1,696.19. Taiwan’s Taiwan Weighted rose 0.815 or 64 points at 7,940.86.
