No hike in railway passenger fares is expected from the forthcoming Railway budget, reports CNBC-TV18 quoting sources. However, selective hike in freight rates is expected. Sources said that no hike is expected in freight rates of foodgrains and fertiliser. Iron ore, coal, cement freight rates are likely to go up. More Duranto train services are expected connecting bi-cities. Special Railway Security Fund is also expected, sources added
