Empee Sugars & Chemicals Ltd is scheduled to start the trial production of 5000 TCD Sugar Plant and 50MW Co-gen Plant in the integrated sugar complex consisting of 5000 TCD sugar plant expandable to 8000 TCD, 50 MW Co-generation Plant and 100 KLPD Distillery at Ambasamudram, Tirunelveli District, Tamilnadu on January 29, 2010. The commercial production of sugar factory and power plant will be scheduled to be declared between 15th and 20th February 2010.
