NHAI gives clean chit to Gammon India over the Kota Bridge collapse; stock gains
NHAI has given a clean chit to Gammon India over the Kota Bridge collapse. The stock was under pressure yesterday as there was an ambiguity over the action of NHAI.
Four days after an under-construction bridge collapsed in Kota, 15 people are still missing. Rescue and relief workers have recovered 32 bodies so far reports IBNLive.com
The bridge was being built over the Chambal River near Kota in Rajasthan jointly by South Korea’s Hyundai Engineering and Gammon India.
Gammon was blacklisted by the Delhi government following a major accident at a Delhi Metro construction site earlier in the year.
