Asian markets were trading mixed. China’s Shanghai Composite rose 1.09% or 35.14 points at 3,246.90. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng was flat at 21,506.80. Japan’s Nikkei was down 0.26% or 27.40 points at 10,610.66.

Singapore’s Straits Times was flat at 2,870.73 .

South Korea’s Seoul Composite was flat at 1,666.7.

Taiwan’s Taiwan Weighted was up 0.22% or 17.33 points at 8,071.16.
