NSE F&O Cues: Total Fut OI up by Rs 1,163 Cr, total Options OI up by Rs 1,822 Cr; Nifty Fut trading at 5 pts prem Vs 6 pts disc; Bharti Airtel up 4.5%; Fut OI down 8%, short covering rally seen

Total Futures OI was up by Rs 1,163 crore while total Options OI was up by Rs 1,822 crore. Nifty was up 1.2% and Futures OI was up 4%. Nifty IVs were at 27-30%. Nifty Futures were trading at 5 points premium Vs 6 points discount. Nifty Calls added 3.4 lakh shares in OI while Nifty Puts added 30.7 lakh shares in OI. Nifty 4700 Put added 9.4 lakh shares in OI; Nifty 4800 Put added 8.5 lakh shares in OI; Nifty 4500 Put added 3.5 lakh shares in OI; Nifty 4700 Calls added 3 lakh shares in OI. Stock Futures added 6.1 lakh shares in OI.

On November 5, FIIs net sell in Nifty Futures were Rs 320.7 crore, Nifty Futures OI was up by 46284 contracts. FIIs net buy in Nifty Options were Rs 21 crore, Nifty Options OI was up by 26967 contracts. FIIs net buy in Stock Futures were Rs 417 crore, OI was down by 5635 contracts. FIIs net buy in Stock Options were Rs 21.2 crore.

Bharti Airtel was up 4.5%; CoC surges, Futures OI was down 8%, short covering rally was seen. HDIL was up 6%, Futures OI was up 34%, fresh long positions were seen. Bajaj Hindustan was up 4.5%, Futures OI was up 10%, fresh long positions were seen. IVRCL Infra was down 0.5%; CoC was down, Futures OI was up 15%, fresh short positions were seen. Patni Computers was up nearly 8%, Futures OI was up 36%, fresh long positions were seen.
