Narayan Murthy’s Daughter Akshata is Getting Married to Rishi Sunak Today

One of the most happening event this weekend was Infosys co – founder Narayan Murthy’s Daughter Akshata Murthy’s marriage. She was married at Leela Palace at old Airport road today – 30/08/2009 in Bangalore to Rishi Sunak. Rishi Sunak was Akshata’s classmate at Standford Business School. There is security cover in the form of plain cloth cops. The rituals will take place at Chamaraja Kalyana Mantapa in jayanagar 3rd block. One good thing about this marriage
hall is that it still charges Rs 40,000/day which is cheap compare to other marriage halls of same amenities.

Akshata is currently a marketing director in San Francisco for a European firm that invests in and operates businesses that offer clean, green technologies. Rishi Sunak, an Oxford graduate, Fulbright scholar and British citizen of Indian origin, is a partner at the UK-based activist, charitable hedge fund TCI, The Children Investment fund. TCI, which bankrolls projects for children across the developing world, is headed by Chris Hohn, one of the few philanthropists the super-rich who give away a large part of their wealth through self-controlled charities.
