Caster Semenya won the 800-meter gold medal Wednesday at the world championships despite facing a very strange controversy.The South African teenager has many doubting that she is really a woman,the allegations went so far that the international federation has asked the South African track and field authorities to conduct a verification test which includes a physical medical evaluation and examination from a gynecologist, endocrinologist, psychologist, internal medicine specialist and gender expert.South Africa team manager Phiwe Mlangeni-Tsholetsane said:
“We entered Caster as a woman and we want to keep it that way.Our conscience is clear in terms of Caster. We have no reservations at all about that.”
