Asian markets trading up; Nikkei 225 surged 1.75%,

Asian markets were trading up on the back of positive global cues. China’s Shanghai Composite was up 0.73% or 24.69 points at 3,397.29. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng gained 1.15% or 229.78 points at 20,212.57. Japan’s Nikkei 225 surged 1.75% or 173.72 points at 10,118.27. Singapore’s Straits Times rose 1.09% or 27.49 points at 2,560.92. South Korea’s Seoul Composite added 1.29% or 19.4 points at 1,521.99. Taiwan’s Taiwan Weighted advanced 0.44% or 30.44 points at 7,003.72.
