Bharti Airtel to enter into JV with Alcatel Lucent

Bharti Airtel is going to enter into the joint venture with Alcatel Lucent for outsourcing services, reports CNBC-TV18 quoting sources. Bharti Airtel will have 26% stake in the joint venture. Alcatel Lucent will hold 74% stake.

The Bharti-Alcatel joint venture will manage fixed line, broadband, IPTV network. Alcatel-Bharti Network Management JV announcement is likely shortly. Bharti has existing relationship with Ericsson & Nokia Siemens.
