NSE F&O Cues – 9 April 09

On Wednesday April 8, 2009, Stock Futures added 7.2 crore shares in OI. Futures OI was up Rs 3,100 crore while Options OI was up Rs 2,204 crore. Nifty Futures added 27.54 lakh (7.2%) shares in OI and were at 12.5 points premium Vs 4-points premium a day ago. Nifty OI Put Call Ratio was unchanged at 1.60. Nifty Puts added 31.2 lakh shares while Calls added 19.2 lakh shares in OI. Nifty 3300 Put added 8.6 lakh shares in OI; Nifty 3200 Put added 7.3 lakh shares in OI; Nifty 3500 Call added 6.4 lakh shares in OI; Nifty May 3200 Call added 5.3 lakh shares in OI; Nifty 3300 Call shed 5.5 lakh shares in OI.

Bharti Airtel 640 Call Option added 10 lakh shares in OI; IFCI 25 Call Option added 9.8 lakh shares in OI; Ispat 20 Call Option added 8.5 lakh shares in OI; RNRL 60 Call Option added 6.3 lakh shares in OI; ICICI Bank 370 Call Option added 5.6 lakh shares in OI.

On April 8, net buy by the FIIs in Nifty Futures were Rs 909.6 crore & OI was up 41,654 contracts, net sell in Nifty Options were Rs 173.2 crore & OI was up by 76,865 contracts and net sell in Stock Futures were Rs 636.8 crore & OI was up by 9,799 contracts.
