India to get Rs 7,158 Cr overseas direct assistance loan from Japan

India will get Rs 7,158 crore overseas direct assistance loan from Japan. The second biggest economy and Asia super power Japan has committed Rs 7158 crore for 4 Indian projects. These includes Delhi MRTS project Ph-II, which will get Rs 4062 crore and Guwahati Water supply project, which will get Rs 1538 crore.

ODA from Japan stood at Rs 11,713 crore in FY 2008 and total ODA from Japan reaches Rs 1,13,210 crore.
